A couple of years ago in winter I had the privilege of backpacking through Europe with my daughter. While visiting the lovely village of Isle sur la Sorgue in France, we took refuge from the cold wind in Isabelle’s Café. This was where we experienced our first taste of a most delicious thick hot chocolate drink. It was mixed and poured into a machine which heated and stirred at the same time. As we moved into northern Italy we found more of this wonderful drink. In Schio at the base of the alps we frequented the nearby café and were served it with biscotti. The seed of an idea was planted and I have been able to have this gourmet product made locally. My goal is to provide and promote a quality product, with an international flavour, made locally at a reasonable price. It will be an alternative fun drink for cafes/delis to serve. It is also available in smaller packets for people to buy to make at home. |
